Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to apply for the SME subsidy, but this EU campaign was a huge success as far as we are concerned!
We have helped many clients with filing the application and disbursement requests of the subsidy which offered a voucher of € 1000 as a compensation of the official fees for trademark, design, and patent filings. .
Through the SME fund, the EU has put the importance of trademark design and patent protection on the map and gave many companies the push they needed.
We hope that the EU will launch a new round of grants soon, as this will put proper Intellectual Property Rights protection within reach of many more companies than before. This will also help smaller companies to assert themselves and stand up for their trademark rights.
We strongly support this kind of initiative, because the economic and social impact of all these SMEs is huge!
And don’t worry, there are many more subsidy opportunities in the Netherlands but also within the EU. Perhaps not directly in this area, but also on many other fronts.
